About My Yearbook Sales, Inc.
MYS began when a yearbook adviser and a couple of her students thought there had to be a better way to manage the business side of their yearbook publication. We created MYS to allow you to have more control over the sales and distribution of your yearbook and still make the work manageable.
The principals of My Yearbook Sales include Adam Schwartz, a former yearbook technology manager, Laurie Cohen, a former yearbook adviser, and Richard Schwartz, CPA, a prominent accountant in Royal Palm Beach Florida. Adam Schwartz and Laurie Cohen are the yearbook "gurus" of the organization, having worked together on scholastic yearbooks in the past. In fact, Schwartz was first introduced to scholastic yearbook publishing as a yearbook staff member while in high school under the tutelage of Cohen.
During the past few years, Schwartz and Cohen worked together to create a business solution for sales and distribution of not only yearbooks themselves, but yearbook accessories, business ads and student ads.
Richard Schwartz, who originally served as a financial advisor, later joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. He continues to operate a successful private accounting practice. He handles all monetary collections and distributions and has worked closely with the team to devise the financial reporting capabilities integrated into the MYS engine.

Adam Schwartz
President & CEO
Adam has an extensive background in network/server administration and web application development. My Yearbook Sales actually had its beginnings when he created a program that automated yearbook distribution for his own yearbook staff when he was in high school. Schwartz continually strives to improve MYS by integrating new features recommended by clients. His chief responsibility is to manage the technology and IT systems of My Yearbook Sales. He works closely with Ross Fishkind, developing and maintaining MYS systems and applications.
Ross Fishkind
Chief Operating Officer
Ross, founder of Alterality Studios, joined MYS in 2009 as our Director of Application Development and later became our Chief Operating Officer. Ross studied graphic design at SUNY Buffalo. Ross describes his passion as designing and programming rich web applications. "You're always told growing up to do what you enjoy, and you'll never work a day in your life - I do, and I couldn't be happier."
Laurie Cohen
Vice President & CMO
Laurie is a former yearbook adviser of many years who now devotes her time entirely to private industry. Although Ms. Cohen handles MYS Marketing and Communications nationwide, she services MYS accounts mainly in the west and southwest parts of the United States. Ms. Cohen did both her undergraduate and graduate work at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has advised award winning yearbooks in Pennsylvania and Florida.
Richard Schwartz
Chief Financial Officer
Richard Schwartz, C.P.A., serves as Chief Financial Officer of My Yearbook Sales. He has been the principal owner of an established accounting firm in Royal Palm Beach, FL for the past 15 years and continues to serve accounting clients all over the country. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany.
Dawn Wilcox
Support Team Leader
Dawn heads the support team at MYS and manages our office. She'll be the first person to greet you at our headquarters in Royal Palm Beach.
